The magical trail to Emerald City

October 5, 2018

I don’t know who was more excited, me or Cailyn.....we love anything magical and this was exactly that.

Any chance to be a big kid!

We arrived at the park and ride to board the bus to Emerald City.

As the bus went on is journey we were told the tale by the lovely lady on the bus.

We, as travelers had to help rebuild the yellow brick road.

On our arrival we were greeted and shown what to do next, we waited for a short minute see the Wizard who got us ready for our quest...... Are you ready?

Around the trail you’ll see the most amazing & incredible stops with such fantastic attention to detail, games, characters you will interact with and wow, their costumes will definitely amaze you!

Such effort has gone into this trail you’ll find yourself immersed in the adventure & excited to see what’s next around the corners of the forest.

I don’t want to give too much away but, you will get some yummy warm popcorn to help you along the way & be able to trade bricks you’ve collected for games & treats like face painting with Miss Divine.

Beware.....if you gamble and lose that’s less bricks to hand in at the end of the quest!

Be sure to ring the bell on your return and claim your prizes......I wonder what you’ll get?

Questions a lot of you have asked me today was if the quest was scary?

Cailyn is 22 Months old and the only parts she didn’t like was the wizard projection and the projection in the woods. The rest, she loved. The lights are brilliant for children’s sensory, there’s sounds and lots of interactive games throughout your journey you’ll love, as will the kids!

We highly recommend going along and letting yourself fully enjoy the magical grounds and experience.

Below, I’ve attached a selection of our favourite moments from the night, we went along for the 7pm show which was great for seeing the lights in the dark. Take a warm coat, comfortable shoes and wrap up on the colder nights.

You can buy hot and cold drinks with snacks inside Emerald City so don’t worry if you feel peckish. There’s also toilets on site for convenience.

I’ve popped all the information & links here for you if you do wish to go along:
