The sun was shining, Cailyn had her new top on and we all felt amazing!
Ready to join in on the Musselburgh Family Race Day and enjoy some yummy St Luca Ice cream.
What a day!
We arrived and got taken to our reserved picnic area, which was fantastic as there was 6 of us and we had a large table right by the fence to watch the horses go by.
Our gorgeous bloggers picnics came out and they really didn’t disappoint! It’s all we spoke about for most of the day, the effort that went in to these beautiful boxes was incredible. Massive thank you for them!
Have a look.... how good are these? Bet you’d like a cake now?
I highly recommend the Musselburgh family Race day as it’s great for the kids, adults and lots to keep everyone entertained.
There’s music, kids rides, face painting, ice cream & little cute horses for the kids to play with - (Cailyn claimed a pink one and wouldn’t let t go, must find one to buy for her birthday)
I’ve never been to the races before so this was new for me however Chris goes with his work from time to time and his family have been so we all placed our bets and his Dad got a lot of wins, Great start!
Winners all round by the end of the day, however it was just us that had a loss on the first race. So we spent most of the afternoon playing with Cailyn on the rides, watching her enjoy making friends and enjoying the cuddles from a little puppy sitting opposite us.
I’ve put together a gallery of our day from funny to yummy we definitely made some amazing memories, Swipe to have a look:
Cailyn really had the best day so we really can’t wait to take her again, Thank you Musselburgh Racecourse!
The selfie wall was fully used by us ladies and it definitely made passers by have a laugh.
That’s what it’s all about after all. Enjoying life and making the most of what’s to offer.
So enjoy and check out my highlights from the day, Facebook and Instagram.
