Wow our beautiful little girl is 1 year old!
What a year it’s been, from emergency sections to a house full of unicorns and balloons celebrating Cailyn’s first year of being the super clever, sassy menace we all know and love. Never afraid of anything, other than a rubber pig dog toy my mum has for Taz, She is always keen to explore and get stuck in.
We got the birthday celebrations off to a flying start with myself and chirs opening her presents with her on the 15th. Her face was just the cutest, seeing her reaction to her presents was the best feeling.
We headed off to Glasgow for the day to collect Cailyn’s Unicorn cake from the incredible Dixie Bakes , Carina is wonderful, her cakes are perfect and taste absolutely amazing.
If your looking for something special then definitely order from her as I couldn’t possibly use anyone else after trying Cailyn’s cake.... White Chocolate and Raspberry - delicious!
Daddy went snowboarding while me and Cailyn did some Christmas shopping and got some lunch together. Lovely mother daughter day, even if the Christmas shoppers where incredibly stressful.
Saturday we had the family round to give Cailyn her presents and have a unicorn themed party. It was really lovely to see her enjoy everyone being here. Spoilt as always but that was always going to be expected.
We chose some lovely small businesses to be involved in making Cailyn’s day just right. It’s always nice to be helping someone’s dream rather than adding to the mass!
Here are some photos of her unicorn weekend....
We used Party Delights Uk for all of Cailyn’s birthday decorations. I use Party Delights for all my blog events, I honesty love this company.
The Unicorn balloons came from Arbroath Balloon Creations as I couldn’t get any in Edinburgh for that weekend, so massive thank you to them and my mum!
These leggings are from Blade & Rose as we continued with the unicorn theme. Aunty Abi did really well choosing the beautiful blue unicorn leggings from Little Boos which are gorgeous so please check her page out!
We bought some books, clothes and teddies which Cailyn loved. She was spoilt with even more clothes, teddies and a stunning silver bangle from my mum and step dad. The list could go on and on however the most important part is that Cailyn had the best weekend. We still can’t believe she’s 1. I guess it’s true what they say, the years definitely do go quicker when you have children.
Enjoy all them special moments as they don’t stay small forever!
